Er... hi? Well, I guess I've neglected this site long enough. I'm really sorry for disappearing for a year and a half, and I'll have to update my LiveJournal sometime to properly apologize to everyone. Meanwhile, because the "Haruka" TV series and manga got licensed and released here in the US (albeit to withering reviews, but still... yay!), Kuruizaki will officially shut down at the end of June. Ever since I finished up college and started working full-time, my lifestyle's changed too much to keep up with this place. I was originally going to just convert this place to a fan site, but it needs too much of an overhaul (and I couldn't figure out how to fix the forums). Also, I saw that there are already some awesome HaruToki/NeoRomance fan sites out there with solid communities, while this place has been dying for a long time anyway. So, for now, feel free to keep chattering away on the shoutbox, and save anything you might want from the gallery and fanfic section before they disappear. Thank you again to everyone who hung out here back in the day and contributed to the HaruToki community... and congratulations on getting the TV series and manga licensed and released in English! Winners, if you haven't already, please PM me your mailing information so that I can send you your prizes. As for picking the next Spotlight character, this will be a bit trickier because of the tie. However, once ArikawaNozomi and kurogane have PM'd me their choices, I will put up a poll for a day or so for the public to choose between the two. Please remember, of course, that the next contest will be another fanfic one again. Finally, I am very happy to announce a new appointment within Kuruizaki. Because I'm a slow-poke and don't have enough time to handle everything nowadays, I have asked Mizutama to step up and become the Scanlation Team Leader. So, she will now be in charge of overseeing the manga side of Kuruizaki, while I focus more on the website, contests, and fansubbing. This voting thing's getting pretty difficult these days, as is evinced by the fact that we have two Honorable Mention winners this time around. (Either that or you guys are just trying to make Mizutama's life harder.) Seriously, though, the entries really blew me away, and it was agonizing to have to choose just one. Luckily, the poll was set to log your IP address to prevent multiple voting, because I was honestly considering cheating and voting more than once.
